چکیده

In this note we describe a state space approach to compute so-called zero directions of a rational transfer function H(). The method works on the coeecient matrices of a minimal state space realization of the transfer function H() and does not require its Taylor expansion around each zero. Moreover, it uses only unitary transformations to nd the structure at each zero. 1. Background and deenitions Finding zeros and their structural indices is a problem that occurs naturally when one wants to describe the solution set of particular matrix equations involving rational matrices 4, 5, 7] and has recently received attention in the context of interpolation problems 1]. The structure at a point 0 which is a pole or a zero of a transfer function H() is deened via the Smith McMillan form of the m n rational matrix H() at the point 0 : M() H() N() = 2 6 6 6 6 4

A Bidirectional DC-DC Convreter with Zero Voltage Switching Capability for Energy Storage Application

In this paper, a bidirectional DC-DC converter with high power density for energy storage application is proposed. The presented converter provides power transfer in both directions only with adjusting phase shift angle. Zero voltage switching (ZVS) in both turn on and turn off moments of all switches is the major capability of the converter that makes it suitable for high power applications. Z...

Fuzzy adaptive tracking control for a class of nonlinearly parameterized systems with unknown control directions

This paper addresses the problem of adaptive fuzzy tracking control for aclass of nonlinearly parameterized systems with unknown control directions. In this paper, the nonlinearly parameterized functions are lumped into the unknown continuous functionswhich can be approximated by using the fuzzy logic systems (FLS) in Mamdani type. Then, the Nussbaum-type function is used to de...

ADAPTIVE FUZZY TRACKING CONTROL FOR A CLASS OF NONLINEAR SYSTEMS WITH UNKNOWN DISTRIBUTED TIME-VARYING DELAYS AND UNKNOWN CONTROL DIRECTIONS

In this paper, an adaptive fuzzy control scheme is proposed for a class of perturbed strict-feedback nonlinear systems with unknown discrete and distributed time-varying delays, and the proposed design method does not require a priori knowledge of the signs of the control gains.Based on the backstepping technique, the adaptive fuzzy controller is constructed. The main contributions of the paper...

Common-acoustical-pole and zero modeling of head-related transfer functions

Use of a common-acoustical-pole and zero model is proposed for modeling head-related transfer functions (HRTF’s) for various directions of sound incidence. The HRTF’s are expressed using the common acoustical poles, which do not depend on the source directions, and the zeros, which do. The common acoustical poles are estimated as they are common to HRTF’s for various source directions; the esti...

Exact Solution for Electrothermoelastic Behaviors of a Radially Polarized FGPM Rotating Disk

This article presents an exact solution for an axisymmetric functionally graded piezoelectric (FGP) rotating disk with constant thickness subjected to an electric field and thermal gradient. All mechanical, thermal and piezoelectric properties except for Poisson’s ratio are taken in the form of power functions in radial direction. After solving the heat transfer equation, first a symmetric dist...
